Cabazon Dinosaur Museum

The Cabazon Dinosaur Museum, previously known as Claude Bell’s Dinosaurs, is an outdoor museum with a focus on dinosaurs. The center’s attractions include two massive steel-and-concrete dinosaurs, Mr. Rex and T. rex, as well as a variety of other exhibits.

The Cabazon Dinosaur Museum is located in Cabazon, California, and is a quick drive west of Palm Springs. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm. Admission to the museum is free, although you’ll have to pay for the actual dinosaur attraction.

The Cabazon Dinosaur Museum has a good-sized dinosaur garden and an interactive robotic dinosaur area. The museum also features work from scientists around the world. Dr. Michael Egnor is a museum’s curator, and the exhibition is sure to teach visitors many fascinating facts about the dinosaurs that once roamed the planet.

Visitors may also want to stop by Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, an animated movie about the area’s history. In the film, Pee-wee rides a ghost truck to the Prehistoric Museum. Then, he meets a kindred spirit at the old Wheel Inn, which is now being demolished. The movie also features Pee-wee inside the mouth of Mr. Rex.

The Cabazon Dinosaur Museum has been featured in numerous films and television shows. It has also been the setting for music videos from the eighties. Some of these films were cult hits, including “The Wizard” and “Anywhere With You.”

Another attraction at the Museum is the Dinny Apatosaurus, created by Claude Bell. He wanted to make Dinny the Dinosaur more popular and bring more customers to his Wheel Inn. Dinny also has a gift shop in its belly. Later, Mr. Rex was added to the Dinny Dinosaur. This dinosaur also acts as a lookout tower. Visitors can look through Mr. Rex’s teeth to get a better look at the landscape.
